First we will weld the floor and lower firewall in place.

This car had a rumble seat in the past. Now it will need a channel for the trunk lid to rest in and prevent rain from leaking into the car.

Fabricate and weld channels across rear and partway up sides of trunk.

Weld steel tubes in channel corners for drains. Re bracket trunk lid latch support to hide fasteners.

Rust repair on front fender.

Shape patch panel with English wheel, cut rusted area out, fit
patch panel in place and weld solid.
Grind smooth, Hammer and dolly.
Hammer rest of dents out of both front fenders and rear fenders.

Some custom metal shaping and fabrication on these hot rod running boards.

Frame work for wrap around style wall.

More metal shaping for wall. Seat brackets. Install steering column.

Install fuel tank. Fit and adjust tank cover.

Fabricate and install electrical distribution box in trunk area.

Pre-assemble radiator, grill, hood, hood sides, inner fender panels and front fenders.

Add a little metal here, remove a little metal there, a little adjusting, a little more adjusting to set gaps on hood areas and around grill.

Now this custom street rod dash has areas to mount AC control, AC vents, new gauges, ignition switch and head light switch.
